Hey Joel,
The request to Gumroad is made to check whether your license is still valid in case somebody requests a refund of their license and I have to disable it. But if AbleSet detects that you have no internet connection, it will skip the check and start normally, so you can use AbleSet offline.
The ability to activate AbleSet offline is a good idea! Since a license file is tied to one machine, you'd have to copy the machine's ID to a computer that has an internet connection. I'll check to find the best way to do this :)
