Non-Unlockable Performance View link
complete
Joel Chinta
The ability to give a performer a view with a link that they can access on their phone browser. Without the ability to reverse engineer their way into the setlist view where they can have control.
Also the ability to give a song leader the basic controls in performance view without the ability to alter the main setlist view.

I've taken a slightly different approach due to difficulties with hosting the read-only link on a different port. As of the latest beta, you can now define a password to protect AbleSet. All clients connecting to AbleSet can see the setlist and performance view by default but can't make any changes or control playback unless they enter the password.
If you access AbleSet from your own computer, you'll always have full access without having to enter your password.
You can download the latest beta here: https://ableset.app/download/mac/1.9.1-beta.3
Currently it's not possible to log out once the full view has been unlocked. That's something I'll implement in the next beta :)

That's a good idea! I'll have to think about the best way to implement this since I can only use your computer's IP address to host the web app which means people can always remove the path behind the IP address to get to the homepage.
There are currently some workarounds you can currently use to achieve something similar. If you have control over the devices your team uses, you could add the performance mode to their home screen as an app: https://jmp.sh/AdJwZJa
If you use iOS devices and want to completely lock them down, you can go to the settings, then tap on Accessibility -> Guided Access and enable that. This will allow you to enable a single-app mode that doesn't allow users to switch to any other app. You can also disable touch, keyboard input, etc. if you like.
I don't have an Android device to test with currently, but I'm sure they have a similar feature as well.
You can also lock the setlist from within AbleSet's settings which prevents any edits to the song order.
Let me know if this helps in the meantime :)

Leo Bernard: Thanks so much for your response man. Yeah, I am sure that will work in the mean time.
What if you used a different port for the non-unlockable view?
Now, if this is implemented, there must be a way to unlock certain features specifically for that view using the main control panel.
