Would love to be able to use keywords to tag tracks and either mute or unmute them when looping. Use case here is use of two Guide tracks - one named “Guide” that is unmuted normally, and then one named “Repeat Guide” that gets unmuted (and the original gets muted) when looping to announce the looped section instead of the section that normally follows. I also use the same functionality on midi tracks to send midi cues for the looping section while looping.

Tested just now and works perfectly. Just purchased AbleSet! Thanks for your responsiveness!!

I've just released a new beta with this feature. Instead of +LOOPMUTE and +LOOPPLAY, I decided to go with +GUIDE and +LOOPGUIDE which might be a bit easier to understand.
You can download the beta here:

That's a great idea! I had a similar request for the upcoming feature that lets you cue up another section which AbleSet will jump to upon reaching the end of the current one.
I think using flags/tags to mark certain tracks is a good concept. For markers we have the syntax of "+LOOP", e.g. "> Chorus +LOOP". We could apply the same style to tracks, like "Guide Track +LOOPMUTE" and "Repeat Guide +LOOPPLAY". Not the best names, maybe I'll come up with some better ones that also include the case of jumping to a completely different section. In that case both guide tracks would be off. Do you have an idea for how to name them?
I look forward to your reply!

Leo Bernard: I don't have any ideas better than your suggestion of +LOOPPLAY and +LOOPMUTE! I hadn't thought about the case of executing non-linear jumps on completion of current section; makes perfect sense to mute both until the jump happens though!
